The Bulgarian violinist Zornitsa Ilarionova is a student of the world-renowned Professor Zahari Bron at the prestigious Queen Sofia Higher School of Music in Madrid, as well as the prominent violinist Mario Hosen at New Bulgarian University and Professor Pavel Vernikov at the Santa Cecilia Music Academy in Bergamo, Italy. She has also received valuable advice from great violinists and teachers such as Augustin Dumay, Michaela Martin, Dora Schwarzberg, Midori, and the legendary violinist Ivry Gitlis.

Several international competitions, of which Zornitsa is a laureate, had supported her brilliant embarking on the worldwide podium - International Competition “Rising stars” in Berlin, Manhattan International Competition in New York, Johann Sebastian Bach International Competition in Japan, Rudolf Barshai International Violin Competition in Saint Petersburg, Medici International Music Competition in London, and Rudolf Kreutzer Violin Competition in Belgium. As a prize winner of “Suna Kan “International Violin Competition in Ankara, Zornitsa Ilarionova is invited as a jury member of the competition´s 2022 edition, as well as to give a masterclass.

Recent seasons highlights had included concerts with great success at salle Gaveau in Paris and participation at France Musique emission, at the Middle East Classical Music Festival and Academy in Dubai, as soloist of Sofia Philharmonic, Philharmonic orchestra of Izmir, the symphony orchestra of Antaliya, the chamber orchestra of Bilkent in Ankara, as well as solo and chamber music recitals in different venues such as “Encuentro de Santander” in Spain, “European Music Festival” in Sofia, Teatro di Marcello in Rome, performance at the international music festival “Mimas” in Procida, Italy (European capital of culture 2022).
